Gaynes Park Wedding Videographer
Stylish and contemporary barn wedding venue in Essex.
Since I filmed my first wedding video at Gaynes Park in 2015, it’s clearly become a venue that’s grown in popularity judging by the number of videography enquiries I receive. Set in the grounds of a historic country estate, the venue combines several distinctive locations for the bride and groom prep, ceremony and reception which adds variety to your experience and increased visual interest to your Gaynes Park wedding video.
Morning preparations for Brides and Grooms
Apple Loft Cottage is the main location for those applying the finishing touches to their ensemble prior to the ceremony. The cute little building has recently been stylishly renovated and the upstairs is bright with plenty of mirrors and on-trend decor. Here there is plenty of room for the rest of your troupe and space to hang your outfits too. It’s also very private for those keen to avoid catching a glimpse of their partner prior to the ceremony! The ability to get ready so close to the orangery is handy also for your wedding videographer, who can set up in the orangery whilst keeping an eye on the cottage to capture the key moments as you prepare. Grooms will tend to get ready in The Coach House which also forms the accommodation offering at Gaynes Park and is just a stone’s throw away.
Wedding videography for your ceremony at Gaynes Park
Gaynes Park has four locations to choose from for civil ceremonies - the Orangery, the lawn, the Gather Barn and the Mill Barn. Almost every wedding video at Gaynes Park that I’ve filmed has been in the Orangery. At any time of the year, this is filled with natural light and can be heated or cooled according to the season. The structure is neutrally decorated so couples can add their own touches, or just let the beauty of the landscaped gardens shine in. Seating can be arranged as you wish and is usually in either length or widthways orientation.
Speeches & Dancing
At Gaynes Park, your wedding Breakfast is likely to be served in The Mill Barn which can seat up to 150 guests. As a wedding videographer, I find the barn particularly good for filming the speeches. The mezzanine level provides a great viewpoint which as I use as a wide-angle for toasts and for the first dance. The side area is usually curtained-off during the meal meaning I can set up, then lift my cameras into position when the time comes, without disturbing your guests.

The park offers multiple set-up options with separate, unique venues for preparations, ceremony and speeches. I can film both the bride and groom prior to the ceremony if both are getting ready in the venue grounds.
